I consider myself a good friend. When people talk to me I listen. For a while there, quite some time ago, It seemed like all my friends wanted to move away from our home town,( which seems to be nothing more than a recessed, rural shit fuck of a town. Filled with old anti social types that hate young people and fun times. ) They thought that moving away from home would help them kick a bad drug addiction, find a job and be more successful people. In some cases I feel this can work but for the most part I disagree. So goes the song.....

song lyrics
Felling down, troubled by his situation
If he could get out of here his life would change and become more fair
shitty area, shitty population, in a new place with brand new friends maybe his life would change for the best.
run away, run away,
keep running from your problems but your life wont change it stays the same
run away, run away,
no matter where you are living at you're still the same and that's a fact
new place same old situation
his hopes and dreams to make things right were foiled by his way of life
new friends same old complications
no matter where he tries to run his habits stay he's been undone
chorus
Think for yourself, but don't be so naïve.
act on the way you feel if it's truly what you believe.
just remember who you are and where you come from
don't run away from your problems or blame your faults on anyone..
